What is Beauty?

A photoshoot based around the idea that beauty is constructed, "Now every girl is expected to have Caucasian blue eyes, full Spanish lips, a classic button nose, a California tan, long Swedish legs and hips of a nine year old boy." These unachievable aspirations of beauty from Tina Fey's 'Bossypants' inspired this concept; you cannot physically achieve what is considerd 'the perfect body' without looking like a caricature.

 

Inspired by surrealist artists such as Dali and Picasso, this abstract image I created portrays the 21st Century distorted ideals of beauty.
